Sorry I’ve been MIA, I’ve just come back from the most amazing trip to Bali for my birthday. Look out for a new vlog this week on my packing essentials for travelling solo.
This week I’m obsessing over ASOS’s AW17 line up. I’m seeing a lot of preppy ‘Clueless’ style outfits; bringing back the best of the 70s and 80s. You’ll see a lot of daywear, like denim flowing in with 70s vibes and then going out gear is giving us back all the 80s feels. Think funky longline blazers, aline skirts, puffed out going out tops and loud prints. I’m super excited for these trends, as they’re so re-workable and theres many outfits you can jazz up with a denim shirt and blazer by say, switching from grunge army boots to a pair of cool old-school converse high tops.
Let’s have a browse…
The Longline Blazer in Check Print.
The Black Denim Skirt.
This is look is really easy to achieve. I think every wardrobe should include a black blazer, denim/a-line skirt, as the blazer can be warn with a pair of jeans and can be switched up day or night with either a pair of heels or simple trainers.
Fenty by Rihanna I’m hearing a great deal about recently and her colab with Puma is tingling my fingertips.
The Suede Creepers in Sand.
For accessories, big statement earrings are back in but not the bad kind which you’ve thrown away long ago, I’m talking about fabric, fringe, tassel big chocolate button looking ones.
Tonal Tassel Earrings.
