I’ve been a fan of @facetheory for a couple of y I’ve been a fan of @facetheory for a couple of years now and one thing in particular I like about the brand is their ethics on how beauty products are made.

They’re interested in the science of beauty but don’t compromise on the ingredients. I trust them and it’s all backed up in how they explain how each ingredient will benefit you. Not the list some brands give you and then you have to scroll and find the real list somewhere on the website that’s full of hideously long names you can’t pronounce (I honestly feel like a detective on some beauty sites).🕵🏻‍♀️

Facetheory’s affordable, clean, vegan and cruelty-free formulas have helped me feel more confident in my skin and more educated about what I really need in my face cleansers, serums and even body oils to feel good.

Oh, by the way this isn’t an Ad- I bought and paid for this myself. I just wanted to share my love of #cleanbeautyproducts and in particular an affordable one like #facetheory 🌸

The best Christmas present ever - I can finally an The best Christmas present ever - I can finally announce that I got a Distinction in my Masters from @bangor_university 👩🏻‍🎓

I had a blast interviewing @ashantigholar @bethsilvers @rebeccasiveformakeherstory @emtsuss and @wyldkit for a podcast series on the importance of women-hosted political podcasts and getting more women elected to political office. I couldn’t have done this without you ladies, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I will be posting more information about the episodes in January so, keep your eyes peeled.

However, you can listen to all episodes of season 2 of The How To Podcast now via the link in my bio.

Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year! 🎄✨

🍉 During these winter months my lips get especi 🍉 During these winter months my lips get especially dry so it’s important to me that I keep them hydrated…organically! 🍉

I’m SOOOO HAPPY I found an organic lip balm I can trust and AFFORD 👏🏻

Organic lip balms are worth trying to solve chapped lips and do not contain harsh chemicals that are harmful to the body. These organic lip care essentials are made of common all-natural ingredients like beeswax, shea butter, and aloe vera. On the other hand, if you read the labels of commercial lip balms, you can find chemicals like petroleum jelly, artificial skin softeners, synthetic ingredients and fragrances harmful to the body.

The natural ingredients that make up organic lip balms provide many health benefits. They don’t only heal cracked lips but protect them from future damage. Lip balms with beeswax are popular because they don’t only moisturize and soften your lips, but also provide anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that can heal, protect and prevent damage on your lips from environmental stressors such as UV light, pollution and extreme temperatures.

Organic lip balms are also environmentally friendly because they are chemical and pesticide free, and the ingredients are biodegradable. Companies that manufacture organic lip balms assert that they do not conduct animal testing for their products and use only natural ingredients.

@fruu.cosmetics stuck out for me because they’re PETA approved - cruelty free and vegan lip balms are made with ingredients that are natural and sustainably sourced from wonky, unwanted fruit.

🍉 I love their watermelon lip balm because it’s:

Allergen free and contains enriching watermelon seed oil, coconut oil and aloe vera 🙏🏻 There’s no nasty artificial crap, too 😤. It also contains vitamin e which combats free radicals and pollutants.

Oh, and they’re priced fairly as well so more people can afford more natural cosmetics. 🌱
